We all know that the veteran director Mani Ratnam has started the project name ‘Pookadai’, which is a romantic subject in the south Tamilnadu Rameshwaram. Karthik's son Gautham will make his debut in this project, Radha's daughter Thulasi or Sonam Kapoor will become for Gautham’ pair, Veteran cinematographer Rajeev Menon and Oscar winner music director A.R. Rahman is in the movie.
Now the director of the movie has picked Mohan Babu's daughter Lakshmi Manchu for an important role for the movie but, still they maintain the suspense regarding Lakshmi Manchu’s role.
